Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Making Science | Sweeft. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business and IT teams to gather requirements, improve business processes, and design solutions that align with business objectives. You will play a crucial part in driving process optimization and supporting key projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in current business processes.
• Develop detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.

Solution Development:

• Work closely with IT and development teams to design solutions that meet business needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the development of prototypes, mockups, and proof of concepts to validate proposed solutions.

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams.
• Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and provide status updates to ensure alignment and clarity.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline business processes for efficiency.
• Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance effectiveness and performance.
• Lead process re-engineering initiatives to align processes with organizational goals.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure business processes and solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field, with a focus on process improvement and project management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and other enterprise software.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration.
