Role Description

We’re hiring a Middle-Level Python Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll contribute to building robust backend systems using Django, support API development, and apply your JavaScript skills to handle data presentation logic on the frontend when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework
• Develop and maintain APIs, ensuring performance, security, and scalability
• Integrate backend services with simple JavaScript-based logic for frontend data handling and conditional rendering
• Work with Wagtail CMS to manage and customize content-driven websites
• Perform basic database operations and data querying using SQL
• Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Use Git for version control and follow standard development workflows
• Participate in code reviews and planning meetings, contributing to team knowledge sharing
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience with Python and Django in a production environment
• Solid knowledge of Django REST Framework for API development
• Experience working with Git (version control best practices)
• Ability to use JavaScript for interface-level logic (e.g., showing/hiding content, small user interactions)
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Wagtail CMS is a plus
• English language proficiency at B1 level — able to communicate in writing and in meetings
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage tasks independently
• Adaptability to changing project requirements or priorities
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and results
• Effective communication and a proactive attitude
