Role Description

We’re looking for a Mid-Level Python Developer to join our growing team at Making Science | Sweeft. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about automation and interested in expanding their skills in the area of AI agents and intelligent systems. You'll be involved in building robust backends, developing APIs, and contributing to AI-driven projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver smart and efficient automation solutions
• Contribute to the development of AI-powered agents and internal automation tools
• Integrate third-party services and APIs while ensuring reliability and performance
• Deploy and maintain backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Stay up to date with modern development practices and explore new AI/ML applications where relevant

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–4 years of experience with Python in production environments
• Strong knowledge of API development
• Solid understanding of databases and experience with writing efficient queries
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – required
• Interest in AI/ML technologies and a desire to grow in this area (deep experience not required)
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Docker is a plus
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work
• English proficiency at B1 level or above
